| About Small Groups Small groups are a wonderful way to study the Bible, and to grow in faith by sharing experiences with other people. Listen to some of the things people have said in small groups at FCC: "I have been a Christian for years but have grown more in the past year than all the years combined." "I really need the support and encouragement I get from you guys to get through each week" "I never realized the importance of accountability" "This is my close Christian family" "I am realizing what it means to have a relationship with God" Anyone can get involved in a small group at FCC, there is no membership requirement to participate.To the right is a listing of the current and upcoming small groups that you can be a part of. |
Active Small Groups Tuesday Morning Men Time: Tuesday, 7 a.m. Location: Kevin Cope's Office/Creekside Cafe Contact: Kevin Cope "The Great Adventure" (Men's Fraternity. The first Tuesday of each month we meet at the Creekside Cafe in Broadalbin. All other Tuesdays at Dr. Cope's office. Fulmont 17-20 something Guys Time: Every other Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. Location: Dr. Cope's Office Contact: Kevin Cope All guys 17-20 something invited. This group is using "The Quest for Authentic Manhood" (Men's Fraternity). What's so Amazing about Grace? Time: Wednesday, 7 p.m. Location: Kevin Cope's Office Contact: Kevin Cope Based on the book and DVD by Philip Yancey. This group will bein October 19th and meet every other Wednesday. Contact Kevin Cope or the church office for dates and more information. Life Skills Session Time: Tuesday, 7 p.m. Location: FCC Contact: Church Office Tuesdays this fall we will be learning something new each week. We will learn how to make nutritious snacks, how to make the most out of couponing, how to write an effective resume and how to present yourself well at an interview. More practical skills to come. Walk the Talk Time: Wednesday, 7 p.m. Location: Member's Home Contact: Tom Poquette Discussion study of the Book of Acts. Group is open for new attendees at any time. Contact Tom Poquette or the church office for meeting location. Men's Mentoring Group Time: Wednesdays, 12:00 p.m. Location: FCC Contact: Greg Meyers Pastor Greg leads this group for men of any age who are committed to growing in their walk with Christ thru Bible reading, study, prayer, and accountability. Women's Sunday Study Time: Sunday, 9:00 a.m. Location: Church Office Contact: Cindy Elsenbeck We are currently studying the Beatitudes. New attendees are welcome at any time! Parents Group Time: Friday monthly, 6:30pm Location: Fulmont Community Church Contact: Greg Meyers Feel free to bring the kids to this small group where we will jump into God's word for parents through Bible study. This group is designed for parents of children birth to 5th grade. Single parents welcome! Childcare is provided. Contact Pastor Greg or the church office for the next meeting date. **Times and locations can be subject to change, so be sure to contact the group leader first if you wish to join. |
