| About Small Groups Small groups are a wonderful way to study the Bible, and to grow in faith by sharing experiences with other people. Listen to some of the things people have said in small groups at FCC: "I have been a Christian for years but have grown more in the past year than all the years combined." "I really need the support and encouragement I get from you guys to get through each week" "I never realized the importance of accountability" "This is my close Christian family" "I am realizing what it means to have a relationship with God" Anyone can get involved in a small group at FCC, there is no membership requirement to participate.To the right is a listing of the current and upcoming small groups that you can be a part of. |
Active Small Groups Sunday Growth Group Time: Sunday, 9:00am Location: FCC Contact: Greg Meyers Men's Fraternity Time: Tuesday and/or Saturday, 7:00-8:00 am/8:00-9:30 am Location: Dr. Cope's Office/Fulmont Community Church Contact: Kevin Cope Men's Fraternity is designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction. All men in the community are invited to join other men in a program designed exclusively for guys. Why Am I Here? Time: Thursday, 7 p.m. Location: FCC Contact: Greg Meyers Discipleship - You were created to become like Christ! Have you ever wondered, "What on earth am I here for?" Are you struggling with the question, "What is GOd's purpose for my life?" This is the group for you! A short study of the major biblical purposes; worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and witness. If you are new or returning to Christ and His church, this is a great way to get oriented. If you need a refresher or spiritual tune-up this will fit you too. Greg Meyers will lead this group (744-4569). Discover God's Purpose for Your Life Ladies Study Time: Thursday, 1:00 p.m. Location: A Member's Home Contact: Church Office Discover God's Love and purpose for your life as we study Ephesians. Gain practical advice for living a new life of unity and maturity. Learn to stand strong in the Lord. Our first meeting will begin at 12 noon with a luncheon. The following sessions will be 1-2:30 p.m. Parents Small Group Time: Friday monthly, 6:30pm Location: Fulmont Community Church Contact: Greg Meyers Feel free to bring the kids to this small group where we will jump into God's word for parents through a Home Builders Bible study entitled Establishing Effective Discipline for Your Child. This group is designed for parents of children birth to 6th grade. Single parents welcome! Childcare is provided. This group has taken a break for the summer and will resume in the fall. **Times and locations can be subject to change, so be sure to contact the group leader first if you wish to join. |
