| About Small Groups Small groups are a wonderful way to study the Bible, and to grow in faith by sharing experiences with other people. Listen to some of the things people have said in small groups at FCC: "I have been a Christian for years but have grown more in the past year than all the years combined." "I really need the support and encouragement I get from you guys to get through each week" "I never realized the importance of accountability" "This is my close Christian family" "I am realizing what it means to have a relationship with God" Anyone can get involved in a small group at FCC, there is no membership requirement to participate.To the right is a listing of the current and upcoming small groups that you can be a part of. |
Active Small Groups Sunday Growth Group Time: Sunday, 9:00am Location: FCC Contact: Greg Meyers Discovering Spiritual Maturity meets Sunday at 9 a.m. beginning 1/17 and lasting 8 weeks. This winter the Sunday Growth Group will “Discover Spiritual Maturity” by studying four key habits for Christian growth; Bible reading, prayer, fellowship, and giving. Greg and Lori Meyers will co-lead this group with emphasis on participation and application. The group meets at 9 am in the church office and will take two months to complete. The completion of Christian Life and Service Seminars is expected of all members and we urge those who have not attended this seminar (AKA CLASS 201) to make this a priority. Other interested teens and adults are encouraged to attend. If you need child care during this time or have other questions, please speak to Pastor Greg. Love and Respect in Your Marriage Time: Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. Location: Thompson's home 55 W Main, B'albin Contact: Ron Green The theme of Love and Respect is ...The love she most desires; the respect he desperately needs. Based on the book by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. Visit www.loveandrespect.com. Men's Fraternity Time: Tuesday and/or Saturday, 7:00-8:00 am/8:00-9:30 am Location: Dr. Cope's Office/Fulmont Community Church Contact: Kevin Cope All men in the community are invited to join other men in a program designed exclusively for guys. Parents Small Group Time: Friday monthly, 6:30pm Location: Fulmont Community Church Contact: Greg Meyers Feel free to bring the kids to this small group where we will jump into God's word for parents through a Home Builders Bible study entitled Establishing Effective Discipline for Your Child. This group is designed for parents of children birth to 6th grade. Single parents welcome! Childcare is provided. Next meeting February 5th. **Times and locations can be subject to change, so be sure to contact the group leader first if you wish to join. |
